Assay Explorer Developers’ Network reaches out

Web site expands to offer tips and tools to researchers and administrators

It isn’t just for developers anymore.

The Assay Explorer Developers’ Network, which got its start as an online community for developers to exchange ideas, has opened its doors to all licensed administrators and users of MDL® Assay Explorer.

The expanded access comes in response to customer requests and as part of the product team’s continual effort to improve users’ experience with Assay Explorer.

Now administrators and researchers can find a wealth of resources, such as quick reference guides, user scenarios, custom variable calculations, and more. For developers, the site continues to offer VBA add-ins, custom applications, and other tools that can be used to customize Assay Explorer to meet an organization’s specialized needs.

The Assay Explorer Developers’ Network provides the perfect forum to find solutions-and share your own.

"As the Assay Explorer community has grown, the Developers’ Network has become even more valuable," said Julie Chang, product manager, biology product marketing. "MDL hosts it, but it is essentially a forum for exchange of ideas between customers, so the more people who actively participate, the richer the resource becomes."

An email discussion group has also been added to the site. By signing up with the Assay Explorer Discussion Group, customers can stay abreast of product news, post questions about Assay Explorer to MDL product experts, and share experiences with the Assay Explorer user community.

The Assay Explorer Developers’ Network is hosted on a password-protected area of the MDL Web site. To obtain a user name and password, contact aedn@mdl.com or your system administrator.
