The MDL® Isentris® system includes a set of .NET controls that developers can use in Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 to rapidly create custom applications that feature Isentris functionality or to add Isentris capabilities to existing .NET applications.

Isentris controls enable organizations to customize workflows and quickly develop applications that have a consistent look-and-feel, are easy to learn and include powerful functionality such as list logic, history trees and user-generated forms.

With Isentris controls, developers can easily access and leverage the underlying power and functionality of Isentris. The MDL Isentris client and Isentris for Excel were created using Isentris controls.

Isentris controls are a powerful addition to developers’ toolkits. Developers can combine Isentris controls with third-party controls and standard .NET controls from Microsoft to accelerate application development.

Navigating, filtering and combining scientific records
Chemical structure display and editing
Presenting scientific data in forms and tables
Reporting and printing of scientific data
Importing and exporting of scientific data as SD- or XD- files
Handling of search history and list logic
