MDL® Registration is a flexible, new-generation registration system for building a corporate substance and batch database. It allows researchers to register single substances or to load them via SD Files and offers comprehensive functionality that can be tuned to meet multiple registration needs, enabling organizations to satisfy different rules for drawing and storing substance data.
Flexibility
The database, registration service and user interface can be easily enhanced to fit a chemist's exact needs
There are no missing data fields or nonessential fields on the form
The registration service and the user interface support database changes without reprogramming
The registration service can link to other services to calculate parameters such as logP or Lipinski's Rule-of-Five
Ideal solution for organizations of any size
With all the features of a fully developed system, MDL Registration is ideal for global pharmaceutical companies as well as startup and biotechnology companies. It delivers all the components IT managers need to quickly build a custom corporate database. MDL Registration flexibly handles all data for storage; IT managers are not limited to a predefined setup. Because MDL Registration is built on industry-standard MDL technology, easy integration with other applications delivers the workflow support researchers need in order to accomplish daily work.
New Generation Integration
MDL Registration is built on MDL® Isentris®, which allows organizations to customize their own comprehensive workflow solutions by easily integrating with MDL applications including MDL® Notebook, MDL® Logistics and MDL® Plate Manager. MDL Notebook is an electronic laboratory notebook that actively manages scientists' research. MDL Logistics manages the chemical reagent procurement and inventory tracking needs of laboratories and research centers. MDL Plate Manager is a central repository for plate and sample information.
The substance definition for a morpholine salt. The roles and coefficients of both components are entered into the component table; the combined substance is displayed in the structure field. Name generation tools can be integrated to create the substance name.
Overviews showing the status of each submission. The top table contains the submission request data and the lower table contains the individual records of a particular request. Corrections to failed registration submissions are easily made here.
For SDFile loading, the fields from the SDFile can be mapped against the fields in the corporate database. Default values can be assigned and lookup dictionaries are fully supported.
